Australian Wine/Canadian acrobat show question....

Canada originated an achrobat show recently with a fancy french name that toured the U.S. They stopped in Sacramento for a few days.

Prior to that show at Cal. Exposition Park, they served a wine from Australia in their refreshment tent at the entrance. It was a VERY dry Cabernet Savignon in a 1.5 liter bottle.

Anyone know the brand of that Cab?. I have tried to find it in the local markets but the 2 Australian Cab. wine brands I found were not it. Taste was not as dry.....

My guess on the cab would be a Penfolds out of the McLaren vally. It is a well estapblished and excellent winery known for the quality of their cabs. They can be pretty spendy, particularly Bin 707 which can go from $100-500 a bottle. Just trade a Nagler :-).

There are quite a few other great wines from Oz but the Penfolds is exquisite.
