So, after this Saturday all will be settled. I'm a Ucla grad and currently live in LA...and here we have quite the dilemna. Should Ucla LOOSE to Wash St we will likely get a BETTER ('more prestigious') bowl bid (Holiday versus Insight)AND the Pac-10 will place two teams (Wash St, USC) in BCS Bowls...which will result in quite a good payday for all the Pac-10 teams... should Ucla win the Pac-10 will place one team (less money for all). Strange huh?
I noticed several Ohio State fans =). Well, I think the Fiesta Bowl will be grand...the razzle and dazzle of glitzy Miami versus the blue-collar, strap-em-up and smash mouth football of Ohio State. I think the Buckeyes win this one (remember Nebraska versus Florida's fun n gun about 8 years or so back?). Assuming VA Tech doesn't knock Miama off this week.
One last though...enough bowls already...when a conference's #6 team gets a bowl game it's a lil much.

I tend to root for UCLA over WSU too, but since we beat them this year, I gotta go with WSU just to make my team look better wink As for the Fiesta Bowl, I definitely think many people are underestimating OSU. Their opponents have averaged over 35 pts a game and barely averaged 12 against OSU. Then again, Miami has been averaging 35 pts a game too. Both teams have been incredible on 4th quarter comebacks this year... so I think it'll be a "down to the wire" game...again. And I agree with you on the enough bowls...

I'm beginning to think they'd let ME sponser a bowl smile I'll have Mid-West-Central Kentucky Community Reform School playing Southern California Chess Academy for the title!
