Hi All,

Just a question based upon my daily observation.
How much cents / gallon more people are willing to pay just to avoid driving 1 mile extra in a small town, is it 10/20/30/40 or, 50 cents?

Hmmm... I bet most people don't comparison shop much on gas prices unless there are two or three adjacent gas stations and you can see their prices from the road.

If the price difference is just a penny or so, it's hardly worth driving extra distance. On the other hand, I've driven on when gas stations were completely out of regular unleaded and I didn't want to pay another 10 cents a gallon for premium. I bet everyone here has kicked themselves for refueling a rental car at a gas station near an airport.
