Pollen Allergies

My allergies have been pretty bad this fall. Anybody know what to take to get some relief from allergies? I tried Claritin D but it doesn't seem to help much.

You get acclimatized to antihistamines and decongestants after using them for a while. Try something different. If it's really bothering you, and has done for some time, get your doctor to do the allergy test. I had allergy shots for a few years in my early twenties and they helped a lot; then my allergies eased off and I didn't need them. I still get hay fever about two weeks every spring, and stay indoors as much as possible.

Debbie, I don't know where you are, but here in mid-Michigan the ragweed season has made things particularly difficult over the past 2 or 3 weeks. As soon as we get a couple hard frosts though, it should help a lot.
