I have kind of a nice microscope that I bought for my boys - university level.Trouble is that it keeps blowing fuses and bulbs and want to get it repaired but really don't want to ship it out.I live in the Chicago area so I am sure there are places that I can take it to,just don't know where?
Can someone help please and make a recommendation?

That sounds like a short.
Is it possible to simply rewire it, like one would do an old lamp?
