The last Mini ice age occured during the 1600's so its not such a far fetched idea. I doubt dumping more Co2 in the atmosphere would have the much effect. Its also known that increased solar activity has had an effect of global warming. The sun during the last several minimuns was still pretty active. We are approaching another min right now I jsut got an Email several day's ago showing a massive soplar flare going off.

I may be mistaken, but didn't the ozone hole turn out to be caused by solar flare activity? Also, isn't methane the top greenhouse gas and aren't we able to observe massive amounts of methane in the atmosphere above jungle and rainforest areas? It seems to me like some of the little snippets that I've glanced at in popular Astronomy magazines are in conflict with what conservationists are saying?

Also, is coffee good for us this week? I'm so confused... wink

I have several telescopes, but none are semi-APO, APO, or in anyway valuable.
