A Better Bubble

I posted a blurry Bubble a few days ago (bad focusing).
I reshot it, and this time I was more careful about focusing.
Have a look, I promise this one won't make you cross-eyed.

Dan: Your Bubble Nebula image is breath-takingly beautiful. Allow me to express a minority view: Stick with the black/white views of nebulae (Ha? whatever that means) and eschew the color. As a strictly visual observer of DSOs who does no imaging whatsover, I look for photos that reproduce the ghostly silvery glow that these objects display at my eyepiece. I am not at all fond of the highly processed garish crimson or scarlet versions of emission nebulae produced in contemporary color images which look to me like thickened clouds of coagulated blood that often obliterate the sparkling stars within them. Just one guy's opinion, with no disrespect intended for the work done by skilled imagers of DSOs who like to work with color.

Thanks for the comments, guys.
Herbert:
Ha stands for hydrogen alpha. When an excited hydrogen electron returns to a lower state, it emits a photon of a specific frequency. In the visible range, the alpha frequency is the most commonly imaged.
I, too, enjoy the stark simplicity of black and white images and will always take them.
I must say, however, that I was awestruck by the intense blue color of The Blue Snowball Nebula when I first saw it, for instance, and a color rendition of that object seems appropriate.

Hi Dan. This image of the Bubble is simply superb. I am just amazed at the intricate detail that is visible in it. The image got me so excited that you have forced me to move this image to the very top of my "to do" list. grin I only hope that I can get an image that is half as good as this one. Nicely done!
Cheers,
Tyler

Dan,

This is a very, very nice, richly detailed Bubble. I see a bit of an artifact around the bright star, though. Is that a blooming-repair artifact? Not to detract from the beauty of the image, however!

Dan,
I guess this image is the "after" image to compliment your earlier "before" image. I think I might have been happy to get either, but this last image is impressive. Good detail, good depth, good tracking, and of course good focus. Great job!
