Quite a beautiful sight. A huge open cluster stunning in a widefield refractor.

Nikon D70, stack of 3 shots, Vixen R200SS, Images Plus, ISO 1600.

Beautiful Greg. The Vixen 8" is awesome. Please, please post more, we have no opportunity to enjoy the sights visible from the South.

Here is the Omega Centuri globular I took last friday night. I'm always trying to peek down there from 36 degress N!

Those are some wonderful widefield shots with your D70. They really give the sky the perspective it deserves. Question: how are you attaching your camera. (My wife just got one and, well, she doesn't use it at night that often so I thought...)
