I all; I'm just getting into imaging, so I would like to know what you all think are the best software for capture, stacking, and pre & post processing for both DSI long exposure and planetary imaging.

Thanks for your help

Bob,
I can't speak to comparisons, but I can tell you that for DSO's I have been using AstroArt 3 for acquisition (SX MX716), processing and now guiding and I have been extremely happy on all fronts with the software. I do occassionally use AIP4Win, which is really worth the investment for the book as much as the software. For planets with my webcam I really like K3CCDTools for acquisition and Registax for processing. Again, I can't speak to what is the "best" but only what I've found helpful in my limited experience.
Have fun,
Larry
