The world must be ending. It's clear tonite in the Rochester, NY area (first time in a week...or two?) and I got a new scope today. It's out in the yard cooling off.

Maybe it's just a really, really good scope...that can part clouds.

Gotta get out there before they roll back in. Will probably get hit with a meteor.

Twelve years here, and this is the first time we get a snow day called the afternoon before it happens.

But will the roads be clear enough to make it to Purgatory?

New camera + filter wheel, new digital focuser and, needless to say, I haven't seen the sky since I received them both LAST YEAR!!!!

Now I am positive: it cannot be simple correlation! It must be "cause-effect": New equipment CAUSES bad weather :C

Ciao Roland from what used to be known as "sunny Italy"!

Wow, I was thinking it was just me beset with bad weather (even here in San Diego of all places). Its been two months now. I've taken to setting the scope / camera up in the house just to practice.

Hm...December 2009 - 10 nights of clear sky. But.... temperature about -25 C ( -13 F). It's very good for chip - can be cooled down to -50 C ( -58 F) but not for me grin
