Cant see Andromeda after stretching

Good day everyone!,

Attached is the link of my fits from very short exposure of M31. I cant see it doing the stretch and may be I am doing something wrong? Do I need 30sec+ exposures instead? How to accurately calculate the exposure time?

looks to me like you are centered ~5 degrees north of the galaxy.
