We have had about a week of perfect weather in Colorado! When was the last time that coincided with a new moon? smile

I have 4 nights worth of images for a 4 panel M31 LRGB mosaic; I'll post the results when I finish processing and assembling... Hopefully in a few weeks.

In the meantime, I took some supplemental data of M45 - I had posted a first effort last year, but with too little data I think. With the extra images, I like the result better.

LRGB about 15 5 minute subs per channel:

TEC APO 140
Astro-Physics Mach 1
FLI ML 11002 M
FLI PDF focuser
FLI CFW 2-7 wheel
Starlight Xpress Lodestar
Maxim DL
CCD Commander
Photoshop CS2

Nice shot Jim. Weather like this is why we live in Colorado! I guess it all falls apart tonight though.

Very nice image of the Pleiades. No question it is one of the gems of the northern sky.

Nice Jim, which I could say my weather worked, but 3 nights and no data worth saving, made for a poor month for me. cwy

Jim,
Nice weather and nice results. I like the sharpness and definition in the nebula - it seems more detailed than one usually sees in M45 images.

Nice results. I am glad that someone has been able to take advantage of this recent Colorado weather. I have had several evening activities and early morning commitments, so have missed too many great nights.
