hi deepsky-friends,

I`m new to this group and would like to introduce myself with this M33 image taken with my 5" Tmb Apo f/9.
I have reduced focal length by making use of a TeleVue 0,8 reducer.
here is the data on the image:
Oct 06: 5" f/7, sxv m25c; 75 minutes total exposure, seeing was quite good but transparencya decreased while imaging due to upcoming fog,... sad

I used original SX software for image acquisition, color conversion and minor non linear strech.
stacking was done in Images plus
finals processing in PixInsight and PS CS2

the image attached is a downscaled version of this one here:

a medium sized image can be found here:
http://stargazer.christelhager.info/astropics/deepsky/M33-5f7-medsize.jpg
as You can tell by the image size I had to crop the edges of the original due to distorsion coming from the reducer,... wink

I`m an Austrian hobby astronomer and proudly present my observatory FYI:

best regards
Dietmar

Welcome to the group, Dietmar! Very nice intro pic!

Very nice image from the f/9 5"! I sometimes wonder about the imaging capabilities of this scope at full focal length, this image shows its promise! Keep them coming!

Another beauty! Thanks for sharing.
