Lots of strange stuff in the empty universe between the galaxies. 160EDF refractor at F5.7, STL11K camera, 150 min exposure.

OK, fess up, this isn't taken from the shop observatory is it?

You've really pulled out the deep stuff, Roland.
Impressive to say the least.
My only quibble would be some faint dark rings around a few of the brighter stars.
Processing artifacts?
Capturing this intergalactic cirrus would have been thought impossible for amateurs not that long ago. What's that advertising slogan from years past "You've come a long way, baby"? It certainly applies here.
My best regards,

It's interesting to compare your image with today's (Wednesday) APOD.
The cameras are certainly different, and it's a color image, who knows what the imager's processing skills are, but it's 25 hours of exposure from a 12" scope.
I'd say your 'snapshot' shows more of the galactic cirrus.
As I said before, pretty impressive.
That 160 EDF looks to be a real performer. I bet that you could find customers for that scope should you ever decide to sell a version of it.

Rolando, this is not an INTERGALACTIC dust, you made a fantastic picture of Integrated Flux Nebula - a dust in our ( Milky Way) galaxy. We can see M81 and M 82 through it!
Cheers
