This is an image I took about a year ago. I was reprocessing it when I discovered
there was more data in the image. I had actually picked up a pair of tidal streams
from this galaxy.

Tak BRC250, FLI ML8300, Baader Clear RGB filters.

About 5 hours. Taken from my dark site in NSW Australia.

Superb!

The are two "spikes" apparently emanating from the galaxy. One appears to terminate near a faint (and I assume) satellite of 1097. Is that also the case for the "spike" at approximately 5 o'clock? Is there an even fainter and smaller galaxy there?
