Hi all,

I've had a couple somewhat clear nights over the past week so I decided to give the monkeyhead a try.

This is another bicolor image,Ha,Sg,OIII

I took 30x600s of Ha back on the 9th with the very bright moon only 5 or 6 degrees away, think I picked up a little gradient in the Ha data, which I will post seperately. On the 14th I gathered 18x1200s of OIII data with the moon a little farther away. My last couple shots with an OIII filter used 10 minute subs and had very low signal to noise,20 minutes gave me much better OIII data to work with.

Taken with my TMB115 at F7 and ST10xme
1200gto guided with an e-finder

Thanks for looking, your comments and critisizms welcome.

Jason

Jason,

I like the way your image turned out. What method did you use to create your green channel? With how weak the signal is through my SII filter it often seems a better use of time to get more OIII data and creating a synthetic channel rather than spending time on SII.
