Hi again all,

I don't mean to bore everyone but I reprocessed my M45 shot and hopefully did a better job with the color balance and would like some feedback on these adjustments.

That looks better, Louie.

Lots of nebulosity.

Hi Louie,
To my eyes it is a lot less green than your first version smile
It seems to be a little shy on the blue we are all so used to seeing in the nebula.
It looks very good but maybe could use a little more blue saturation.
Or it could be I just like more blue wink

Hi Louie,

The green cast has gone but it seems that the object should be more blue based on other images of the same. Perhaps you could look around for other images of it to get a feel for the blue level.

It is hard sometimes when processing an image for a while to keep perspective on it. You can get too "in it".

Sometimes it pays to get it to what you like then leave for a while and then view it again later with fresh eyes.

Its worth the effort as it is a hot image.

Greg.
