Hi,
I spent some time reprocessing my M81,M82 data,a lot of time!
I think this one looks much better grin I also took a look at some of my shots on a nice lcd moniter and was suprised to see such a difference compared to my laptop which I use for all my processing.

If you would, let me know how this looks on your screen?Too bright, too dim or just right?

Thanks,Jason

Jason, for some reason the colors don't seem quite right...
Do you think you could send me your final shot, without ANY processing? (I'd like to play with it, if you don't mind... wink ... I love challenges! )

If you are OK with it, please send it to: gastaldo @ bellsouth . net (no spaces, of course... wink )

Hey Jason,
Looks good on my monitor, but I'm on a laptop now, too. I know what you mean about different monitors...I work on a laptop but always check my nice LCD and an older CRT before saying "done" as the blacks are so much darker on the good ones. I have found that really paying close attention to the low end of the histogram to avoid any clipping (which visually might look fine on the laptop) has been key to making them work.
Regards,
Larry
