Hi Everyone,

I thought I would share some of my images of southern objects, starting with globular clusters.

This one is my favourite globular; NGC 104, AKA 47 tucanae.

combination of 10, 60 second images. SBIG STL-1001E CCD. 300mm f/6 newtonain.

Cheers,

Maurice

Scientifically proven fact:- No woman has ever murdered her husband while he is washing the dishes.

NGC 2808 is a bright globular cluster in Carina. Although visible to the naked eye and showing good resolution in an 8" telescope, it seems poorly known. Possibly because of its southern location.

combination of 6, 60 second images. SBIG STL-1001E CCD. 300mm f/6 newtonain.

Cheers,

Maurice
