I have the Meade DSI II color camera but the USB cable is too short for practical use. Meade apparently does not provide an extension. Will a standard USB extension cable from Radio Shack or some such place be suitable?

James, an extension should work, but you would be better off getting a 10' or a 15' USB 2.0 cable instead... 8)
