What is everyone using for capture software with the Phillips web cam cameras?
I just bought a Phillips SPC900NC to attempt some planetary imaging. Also, is Registax still considered one of the better stacking and processing software's?

Thanks,
Robert

I use VRecord (came with my ToUcam) for capture. I have recently been using ImagesPlus 3.5 for stacking and final processing. Registax still has more features for stacking, but it is really time and labor intensive in comparison. ImagesPlus does as well or better with more automation. Version 3.5 of IP doesn't have a single click function to do RGB alignment and it doesn't resample as it stacks, but those are the only things I miss from Registax.

I'm enjoying the new Registax 5. It is better than V4. I've rerun some of my older AVIs and have gotten better results.

Robert its tough to beat K3CCDTools for capturing. Just type that into Google and you'll find it. The author has a free 35 day trial period. Its costs $49.99. K3CCDTools will also process the avi but I still use Registax.
