Hi all. I am mostly a deep sky guy but couldn't pass up the chance to capture this eclipse. I was in St. George, Utah to help my parents move home for the summer and caught the eclipse in full annular mode. What a sight. I couldn't get the whole thing because the sun set behind the hills before the exit was complete, but I like the sequence none the less. The color change was really amazing. Take a look. The full resolution version has detail in the sunspots but it was much too big to post here. Maybe I will add it to my website soon and post a link to the full version. Holy Cow! What a sight.
Cheers,
Tyler
