Hi

The following image was captured last week using a Canon
D60 and 76mm TV @ F5. It is a 115 minute integration using
Canon 12-bit raw mode. Dark and light frames were first
convert to 48-bit TIFF format before calibration,
alignment, and summing. The stacked image was then enhanced
using 16-bit masks and adaptive Richardson-Lucy deconvolution.

All processing was done in ImagesPlus 1.68.

Have a nice day.

Very nice, Mike.

The D60 is an awesome camera, isn't it?

Keep it up.

Very inspiring results, and great comments you've left here, Mike. Thanks, my D60 and I will try some of your wisdom out this Winter.

Awesome image; amazing what you can do with the D60. That's _amazingly_ deep. Needs a little green reduction, however - do you have some light pollution where you imaged this? If I subtract the green, the colors neutralize nicely and there's plenty of blue and red detail that comes out. There's also a slight central hot spot, but this doesn't show up clearly until you rebalance color.
