One more transit pic....

Hello people! As you know major event on the sky yesterday started while Jupiter was low above horizon. My dear neighbor's trees had add more enjoyment of hobby for me Here I'm trying to show difference between low Jupiter and high Jupiter. Satellites was shot at crasy digital zoom of my camcorder. I was just curious if I could see anything. Looks like nothing to be proud about They was processed in Registax separetely and I did not bother myself with Photoshop ( I mean satellites insert). Everything is 80% of original size.
Clear skies, death to the light pollution and short-tree neighborohoods forever!!!

Nice to hear your jugment to my work, guys.
O.K. The scope is the same as before - TMB-175. I am shooting AVI's using SONY DCR-VX 2000 camcorder. It is sort of expensive compare to webcam, but I have it for family use originally, and later have started use for astronomy. Objective lens is 48mm and 3CCD technology means that for RGB outputs there are 3 CCD sensors (I hope I got it right?) Problem - lens of the camcorder is not removable. So to connect that thing to the scope I am using perfect matching ScopeTronics MaxView II eyepiece. To achive high magnification I'm adding ScopeTronics MaxLens and 2" Barlow with 2x. Lot of air-glass surfaces isn't it? I think that's why I can not beat some guys with webcam work )
This particular shot was made in desperate try to reduce amount of lenses between scope objective and CCD sensors. I've removed Barlow and MaxLens and screwed in PowerMate 4x. Vignetting was horrible, but for planets work it goes good enough. I trust Televue in coating quality very much. So here is the result.
Next step - is selling the house on Staten Island N.Y. and go for Florida Keys or at least to Rolando neighborohood ))
