Hi all,

Here are a couple of images from 23rd April. The seeing started off nicely but became more variable.
I am still getting used to how things look on a new lcd display (finally ditched the venerable CRT!)
so hopefully they aren't too far off!

I had a problem with the laptop which restricted capture to around 8fps, so as the seeing looked to
be quite good I thought I could get away with capturing just 1500 frames per AVI but now I am not so
convinced. I think most of them could have benefited from the usual 2500+ frames, I suspect the
difference would probably be slight but worthwhile. It could also be that the blue filter I was
using was not such a good idea after all, I had a theory that even if the seeing was not great a
blue could be used but maybe this is the result, hard to tell. So maybe back to the green as a
default next time. Anyway, enough excuses! ;o)

10in f4.8 Newtonian, Infinity 2-1M, 5x Powermate, Baader blue filter, 150/1500 frames, Avistack,
Registax v.5, PSE5, Focus Magic

Regards,
Stefan
