Hi all,

With lousey seeing the norm lately and work obligations, I've turned to old images in the hope of squeezing a bit more out of them. My Mar 30th shot of Plato is a fair bit more detailed and less noise thanks to NeatImage software which worked well in this case as the smooth crater floor of Plato gives a sample for neat image to subtract the noise.

see what you think

clear skies

Mike,

Well, I lost count on about 35 craters. Yeah, I'd say you did a bangup job on the image!!

It's been so hot and unstable out here near Phoenix, I haven't dared taking the telescope out all week.

Nice image!!
