Processing Software

I've been looking for software to process images from my LPI and my digital camera. Here is a combined and processed stack of 6 captures of Jupiter I got while using my LPI. I'm using RegiStax 3 for stacking and minimal processing, but I was wondering if Adobe Photo Elements 3 will give me the extra kick I'm not getting with RegiStax. Are there any better software packages than Adobe? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stephen,

I use PaintShop Pro 9 for my post processing. One thing I like is that I can capture my post processing keystrokes to a macro and run it with one click on the mouse. Software is about $100 and for me has been well worth it. Images Plus is another good one, dedicated to astroimaging. It's about $200, but Mike Unsold is always upgrading the software to meet astro-users needs. Also, he has several tutorials that are helpful.
