Hi all, I haven't posted here for a while.

I was at Table Mountain star party last week and picked up a side by side saddle for my mount at the swap meet. I brought my 5.5 inch Schmidt camera because there is rarely a chance to use it where I live because of the light polution. I also didnt have a way to mount it any more. With the new saddle I used bungee cords to strap it on next to my 6 inch f/8.5 Starfire and was able to Image the Andromeda Galaxy with my DSLR while also film imaging with the schmidt. I'm still looking for a c-41 processing kit though for the film. The attached picture is of the scope setup I used at dawn looking east. I can make out M45 above the scope. I only got 3x8min on the 20Da that were good because the sky didn't open up untill after 1:00am and there were some problems balancing the unit that slowed me down. I will follow up with the M31 pic using the 20Da. I thought you all might get a kick out of the new and old. Film is still not compleatly dead.

M31 with the 20Da. 3x8 min ISO800, AP152 f/8.5 with WO .8 reducer corrector. Stretched and saturated to the max. Hope you like it. All comments and suggestions are welcome.
