I've just bought a Lumix GF1 camera and am slowly trying to use it for astrophotography - wide field w/ camera lens for now, will try prime focus later. The exposure is limited to 256 seconds (not ideal) but there is a 10x LCD magnification for manual focusing which is very helpful. Anyone else doing astrophotography with the GF1 or GH1?

Are there lens adapters for your camera? Micro 4/3 right?

Jay, let us know how it works at prime focus. I'm thinking of getting a camera like this to use as a planetary imager. Many of the latest models will shoot video at 30 or 60 FPS and when you compare the features in these compact cameras to what you get with one of the souped-up webcams, they are really a bargain. Live view, local data storage, HD resolution, plus you can use them to take regular photos.
