Some Conservatory Shots

I have not been doing much photography lately, but last weekend we stumbled across a little conservatory in Mishawaka, Indiana and I got a few acceptable shots. The conservatory was small, and somewhat in disrepair due to a lack of funding. It was a shame, really, as the people we met that were working there obviously cared about it. It was a little gem of a place. I hope they can keep it going.

Bird of Paradise:

And, I have no idea what this is, but it sure was interesting!

Sweet the coming on
Of grateful evening mild; then silent night
With this her solemn bird and this fair moon,
And these the gems of heaven, her starry train.

Here is my attempt at "artsy", from the historic Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago.

Nice shots Christine.
The ferns really do give it a prehistoric feel. smile
