this might go under insects,but, I know more of u look in here. This was made last fall. Anybody have a guess at what may be inside ? almost 3 inches tip to tip in the door jamb?
Should I be afraid, or very afraid ? lol

That looks to the be cocoon of a Cecropia Moth, or one of its relatives. Should hatch very soon. Very impressive large moth.
