I made another trip to central Utah on Sunday, and played around with some of my filters. I was trying to get a deep blue sky that was very dark. I used a circular polarizer with a neutral density split filter to get this shot. I really like the way the sky is dark with the light wispy clouds.
Cheers,
Tyler

I decided to try this shot as a black and white....I think I may like it even better this way. What do you folks think?
Cheers,
Tyler

Very nice series, Tyler! This one is my favorite. Beehive Peak is an interesting structure, beautiful too.

Beautiful shot. Out of curiosity, did you place the grad across the horizon or did you rotate the holder so that just the upper left "empty" sky was darkened? Either way, the highligts in the tree don't appear distinctly different depite the use of the grad. Good job!
