I have a AP900GTO and would like to control it with a laptop running Windows 2000. I already have the laptop and CCD Soft loaded on it.

I was going to purchase a copy of Sky X Serious Astronomer to control the mount. Then I find out that Sky X requires XP to run and a Pentium 4 chip. The current laptop is a Pentium 3.

Any other software packages that are simple enough to run on a Pentium 3 with Windows 2000 and have the drivers to control a AP900??

I know stellarium works on P3 with windows but it still depends on your video card. It is free so it is worth a shot. The following link is for the Scope control download. You also need to download the main program. There are drivers for the AP goto mounts.http://www.stellarium.org/wiki/index.php/Telescope_Control
