Has the management at Ap ever thought about putting up an IPO? I'd buy it.

That's what Roland needs, a board of directors telling him that they could increase profits by cutting the quality "just a little bit".

Astro-physics is a poor candidate for an ipo. A good candidate would be a company that values growth at all costs and is in a growth market. I've never gotten that impression from its owners' postings.

Although AP seems to have had to jump through hoops in order to obtain financing for their last expansion, I'm doubtful that the overhead of being a publically traded entity would be worthwhile to the owners. It can be a drag wink

THE ONLY WORSE idea I have heard is the continued bellyaching that the waiting list is not public allowing the greedy with gobs of money to try to buy out the honest man willing to wait for Rolandos version of a FERRARI!

Keep things as they are and RESPECT the integrity of one of the first class companies in this country!

I doubt if the mileage will vary for those with any personal pride and respect for a master craftsman!
