Large mount - large scope

While at NEAF, we were able to mount the 20" Planewave DK on the 3600 mount. The 20" weighs around 150lb, and the mount hardly knew it was there. For those contemplating a large imaging system, the Planewave DK is an effective lower cost option to other Cass systems. They also have a 17" model at an attractive price. Check them out.

That 20" telescope just doesn't 'look' like it should weight 150 lbs. Deceptive viewing it on the 3600 and a good match for that mount. The 17" should ride nicely on a 1200 mount, or at least I hope it will.
