Mounting a STV on an A-P 130EDFS

Hi, your opinion on the following would be great:
Currently I am attaching a DSLR camera to my 130 and I have the A-P Piggy Back Camera Bracket attached on the top of one of the rings as you can see in the photo. I mount my STV head on it. This works great as I can move the STV head when I can't get a good guide frame. The bad thing is when the wind blows, this bracket seems susceptible to vibration, which can affect the autoguiding. I am looking at Losmandy's DCM-1 two axis bracket for cameras and buying another DAP5 dovetail plate for the top of my rings so I can mount the DCM-1. Do you think this would be a more stable option? Maybe there is something I can do to stiffen the A-P camera bracket?

Thanks very much,
Ivan

Ivan. You do not state what lens system you are using with the STV-i.e. e-finder, borg, or whatever. I have used both with the AP130 with 1x7inch AP rail and saddle . I will send you photos if it applies to the optics you are using with the STV.Let me know. Joe
