ETX 90 Baffle problem

I recently obtained an ETX 90 and upon arrival, I noticed that the secondary baffle appeared to be mis-aligned. I removed the corrector plate to examine and what I saw is the attached picture. I haven't had a chance to take this under the stars yet to view through the scope (being fairly new, I might not be able to tell the difference anyway). The baffle seems fairly firmly attached and doesn't want to slide into place.

How big of an impact should I expect this to have?
Anywhere I can go to get it corrected?

Would appreciate any insight/advice. Thanks!

Hmmm, I'd pose the same question over at www.weasner.com/etx and see what Mike Weasner and his readers have to say. It is the biggest ETX site that I can think of right now.

Is that a new scope or used?
the baffles are glued on. I had the same problem with my 125
the main problem was I left it in the car one day for about 2 hours in summer time. the glue will soften in heat and it lets the baffle side around. you can try to reset it, but its easier to send it to meade. I tryed it and could never get it to line up right!!!!!!!!
