What is different about the ETX EPs from other Meade EPs? Will they work well in other scopes? I have not found any info on these, other than they are less expensive than regular Meade EPs.
Thanks in advance,
Tim

I believe there is only one ETX eyepiece. It is the 26mm Super Plossl LP. The LP is Low Profile. It's shorter than the other SP line to fit with the ETX fit and finish. If you look through an ETX manual, it says that optically they are identical, but they are NOT parfocal with the other SP line due to being shorter. I have a standard and a LP eyepiece 26mm and they perform equally. I actually prefer the LP model just because it fits into a case and things better.
