Flocking a Meade 8" SCT

Has anyone flocked the inside of their Meade SCT scope? Was the contrast improvement enough to make the effort worthwhile?

Whose flocking paper did you use and were there any problems with the adhesive outgassing?

Thanks for your help.

Hello Johnny!

IMHO, I would consider flocking the inside of an SCT a very minimal benefit, but a very touchy procedure.
I think your best investment would be getting a good Dew Shield and flock the inside of it if necessary... leave your OTA alone...

My .02 cents, my friend...

Clear dark skies!
