Hi Everyone- There's an ad in the Catadioptric section on Astromart stating that the optics on this particular scope were upgraded to "grade A". Does this mean that Meade optics can actually be "upgraded" (at a higher cost, of course) to a better optical quality than the "run of the mill" optics that come standard? This is not meant to be a criticism. Just curious. Thanks

According to the ad, the upgrade was from EMC coated optics to UHTC coated optics. This upgrade was available for a brief time after the introduction of UHTC coatings.
