I am a new 2114 owner (d114mm, f1000; 4.5" aperature) that came with the 1.25" 9 & 25mm eyepieces. I added a 2x barlow soon after. I am looking for advice on best wideview eyepiece that is eye friendly. I tried a friend's 25mm wideview and was impressed with it, but maybe want a little more magnification, maybe 15-20mm if advisable? Any suggestions appreciated!Jay Crawford

Well... that all depends on what you'd like to spend. A 15mm Televue Panoptic seems to be the top choice for most people... then a 14mm Meade Ultrawide and many of the mid-ranged Televue Naglers. Each of those are quite pricey.
You can also look for used Televue Widefields (seem to be pretty hard to find though), Apogee Super Easyviews (I think). Also, a number of "homemade" type eyepieces aren't terrible either, and cost significantly less.
Give us a price range of what you'd be looking at and maybe you'll get some very specific answers.
