Not sure if this has been discussed already, but has anyone compared the 2.8,4,5mm Hi orthos with the Tak. LE's 2.8,3.6,5mm. Contrast, brightness, etc. I would be using them on APO refractors. Also has anyone compared these to the 3,4,5, Radians?

Thank You,
Gian

TAK Orthos (.965), in my opinion, are quite a bit brighter and provide more contrast on bright subjects, such as planets, than either the LE's or the Radians. You will give up field of view and eye relief, but there's a lot of glass in both the LE's, which is a barlow/ortho design and the Radians. There is also a very slight amount of more "color" in the LE's and the Radians.Daniel Mounsey has a great article at Cloudy Nights regarding planetary EPs.
