Operating Temma

What would experienced owners of NJP Mounts consider the best option to operate the Temma 2:
1. Takahashi Temma Hand Controller (Part #THC-0001), or

2. PC using Pocket Sky or Sky Version 5 or 6

I have just dumped my crappy G-11 in favour of a Tak NJP and I noticed that the Temma Hand Controller is now available. I understand that previously Temma could only be operated via a PC using The Sky or Pegasus 21. Suggestions please.

I use an IPAQ running Pocket Sky and like it much more than the Takahashi THC. The THC is like using 10 year old technology. The Pocket Sky has a huge database and the initialization procedure is very easy compared with the THC. I also use Bluetooth which makes my setup wireless. This is no big deal in an observatory, but is quite nice when in the field.

One good thing I will say for the THC is that the build quality is like all things Tak. It is just that the feature set is very, very thin for the price.
