At 8.5lbs. and 85mm aperature, this little guy is an under rated killer. My buddy and I tried it out for the first time up in Big Bear last Friday night with my new FLI8300C. We were running out of coffee and time so this image was just 10x45 secs. (450secs. total). Can't wait to really go for it with this little deal. It's like a bad habit to shake once you take the first one. We were using a Mach 1 unguided, but an EM-11 or any good quality mount will carry this combo easily. It is truley a portable, research quality scope

Looks like it has real potential David.

I am still in the aperture addiction phase of my hobby.
Some of you guys are MacGyver compared to me.

I can't get my head around the $/inch of the Baby Q either.

David, I use a Baby Q and really like it and the little 85mm takes some nice images! Heres an M42 I shot with a DSLR on a trip to the City of rocks statepark in New Mexico. Thanks, Chris
