Having been gone from astronomy most of the year due to lousy work :-(,
I was very happy to be able to image and observe Saturn again this new
apparition.
After the imaging session, I put my 20mm TV Plossl into my 5X
Powermate (165x) and did some visual observing even though my hand was
completely numb from the 40 degree F imaging session :-(.
Because of average seeing, I can now see from the result of the image
that the image showed far more detail than I could make out visually
that night. Nonetheless, 'tis always great to let the eyeball soak
in the photons in addition to the CCD chip ;-).
