Hi: I could use some help. I am trying to use my TeleVue 60 as a guiding scope with my new Trifid Nugget. Can't seem to find the focal plane even with multiple extensions, using the diagonal, etc. Anyone have any experience using a CCD camera with this otherwise exceptional scope. Thanks, Bill Caspe

I don't have the TV-60, but I have a similar scope in the Tak FS-60. When using it for autoguiding I usually install a focal reducer. This not only provides a wider field to pick up a guide star, but also brings the focus point considerably forward. If you have a focal reducer you might try this.
Thanks
