Clear day!

If I don't get a clear day pretty soon, I am going to sue the weatherman at the local TV station. I am tired of him always saying that it looks like a good weekend and then it turns up rain. He is either on something or he is totally out of his mind! I don't know how much they are paying him, but it is WAY too much!
I could be a better weatherman than him!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
;^) Man this bites :^)
I know, I should not have fixed the scope and bought some new EPs and it is all my fault! :^(
Winter sucks!
I am going to move to Hawaii! Yeah, that's it! Hawaii!
:^)

You should see what it's been like in the U.P. of Michigan for the last 8 weeks or so. Last year at this time I was out 3-4 nights a week with incredible weather and seeing. No wind, clear ights, amazing seeing well into January and beyond.

So far this year, clouds, rain, snow, wind. When the occasional clear night comes, it's a full moon. It blows.

Makes me wanna sell my telescope and buy a snowmobile or ATV. ;-)

I know Floyd, weather's a bitch aint it? The past weeks I've been seriously considering moving to Greece and leave Belgium for what it is, grey, cold, cloudy, and crowded, lots of lights (look at a world night-time sattelite picture...). I f*$!~* hate it! The only thing about moving to a Meditterranean country is that my income would decrease but then again, my current equipment would increase in value with their kinda nightskies...
Wishing all of you clear skies however. Oh, I would like to buy a few new eyepieces next month, bad idea?

Actually Floyd, Hawaii, though warm in the winter months, wouldn't be all that great. I lived in Honolulu from October 1973 to March 1974 and I was really suprised at how windy it was. Those trade winds are really strong. Unless you used a dedicated observatory, your views would be rather shakey.
