What is the best method to cool down a SCT ? I have heard that there is actually a fan type unit that is suppose to draw away thermo temp. from within the OTA.. I keep my 9.25" scope inside my closet... temp. is always warmer than the temp outside. If I set up my system how does the scope cool internally if I don't open the visual back? Don't want to introduce dust to the mirror.. also have a Mak-Newt (MN66) same question I imagine applies.. thanks, John M

John, there is something called a LYMAX SCT cooler, check it out...

You could always open the back of your SCT, and point the scope down, so that heat exits through it. (cover the back with some breathing material so that dust/bugs don't go inside)
