FLI PDF

G'day Readers,

Anyone actually have a FLI Precision Digital Focuser (PDF) and can give me a basic idea how it works. Does it fit onto or rely on an existing focuser such as a helical focuser. I thought I saw a photo on Astromart of a Mewlon-250 with a PDF fitted but I couldn't work out how it functioned since the Mewlon has electric focusing at the secondary.

Any info appreciated.

Bump! I, too, am interested in obtaining a good focusing device for my next new scope. This one has been recommended, over perhaps the Robofocus. Any users here?
