Laughable telescope ads?

I'm giving a lecture on telescopes to an introductory astronomy class, and I was looking for a few pictures of really bad telescope ads that I could show for comic relief. You know the ones: the Newtonians pointed at the ground, the "view through the eyepiece" of a comet flying by Saturn, the claims of 1200x magnification...I know I've seen these things, but I haven't been able to find any pictures. Can anyone post any images/links of such ads?

Thanks...sorry if it's a little OT...

Heres one, http://www.nebogear.com/302675.html

About a 1 - 2 years ago, Markus Ludes of APM put a funny ad spoof on Astromart. I don't remember the details- He advertised it as something like the world's best telescope but it was clear from the picture that it was designed by a committee and assembled from spare parts. I think the mount was made out of a coathanger?? To find it, you'd have to do some fancy looking through the archives but it was quite enjoyable.

Markus, if you're reading this, do remember the ad I'm talking about? Anyone else know the ad I'm remembering?

Your quest sound like a good one. I hope your audience(s) like(s) the result.

Best wishes,
John

Not sure about the copy, but the Meade girl in this ad appears to be offering something more than telescopes:

LMAO!!! this thread has made me laugh so hard!!
Yeap. I've seen tons of these ads, and more, and wonder how come people still get away with this deceiving advertising...

Thanks to you all for a good laugh...

Clear skies to all!

Thanks for the replies; looks like there are some memorable bad ads out there. I just hope the students learn enough to understand how bad they really are...
